Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of experience and active BLS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Level III Trauma facility in California.

Details
  • Acute care hospital setting within a Speech Pathology unit
  • Level III Trauma facility
  • 10-hour day shifts, every other weekend (EOW)
  • Float requirement to a sister facility in Redding, CA as needed
  • Cerner EMR used in this position
  • 13-week assignment
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience required
  • Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
  • Active CA SLP license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
  • Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
  • Orientation is 12 hours
