Commonwealth Healthcare LLC is seeking a local contract nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Assistant Director of Nursing for a local contract nursing job in Middletown, Rhode Island.

DON/ADON experience in similar setting required\nRI/Compact RN license required\nBLS required\nMonday -Friday 8am-4pm, with weekend rotation.\n\nResponsibilities\nAssures all necessary mandatory education related to fire safety, infection control, resident rights, hazard communication, safety issues, dementia training and policy and procedure are up to date\nSchedules mandatory in-services on a rotating basis\nAssists in developing, implementing and conducting relevant in-service training programs and staff-based competencies\nCompletes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff, following up on work results\nEstablishes a positive work environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families\nProvides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests\nProvides staff education & development for new hires and on-going competencies\nEnsures complete and prompt reporting on incidents with follow up as necessary\nEnsures that significant changes in residents' condition are communicated to the physician, family or responsible party\nAssist with tracking & administration of staff and resident immunizations
