Job Requirements:
    \t
  • Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care experience required\t
      \t\t
    • Experience may include student clinical rotations

  • Previous night shift experience required
  • \t
  • Previous Charge experience required
  • \t
  • Active and unrestricted Arizona Pharmacist License required
  • \t
  • Required IV admixture and sterile compounding certifications (ACPE accredited)
Preferred Experience:

  • Meditech charting/documentation experience preferred

  • Hospital census averages 130–150 patients per day

Key Responsibilities:
    \t
  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in inpatient pharmaceutical services
  • \t
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
  • \t
  • Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies
  • \t
  • Compound, package, and label medications and IV solutions
  • \t
  • Maintain controlled substance records and inventory accountability
  • \t
  • Support hospital formulary management and medication stocking
  • \t
  • Collaborate with medical staff regarding drug usage, formulary updates, and pharmaceutical regulations
  • \t
  • Plan and coordinate staffing and workflow for assigned shifts
  • \t
  • Maintain pharmaceutical supply inventory and reorder medications as needed
