WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Step‑Down RN for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Boston, MA. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in high‑acuity environments, uses strong critical‑thinking skills, and delivers patient‑centered care grounded in evidence‑based practice.

Job Function:

\n

• Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights 7p-7:30a | EOW/EOH.
\n
• Deliver high‑quality patient care using the principles of  Relationship‑Centered Care, integrating theory, research, and evidence‑based practice.
\n
• Assess and  evaluate  patient needs while applying strong critical‑thinking skills to guide clinical decision‑making.
\n
• Integrate comprehensive assessment and intervention skills into all aspects of nursing care.
\n
• Prioritize patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, coaching, discharge planning, and  appropriate delegation.
\n
• Educate patients and caregivers about the plan of care, transitions of care, health promotion, and disease prevention—anticipating  needs and readiness to learn.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Active RN license required (verification required for submission)
\n
• Minimum 1+ year travel nursing experience required
\n
• Strong Med/Surg Telemetry experience preferred
\n
• Must meet all onboarding compliance requirements
\n
• Minimum 1+ year prior travel RN experience required
\n
