Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a General Surgeon with Sierra Pacific Surgical, you will join a highly respected and well-established surgical group, renowned for delivering exceptional patient care across the Sacramento region. Every day you will perform a broad spectrum of elective and acute care responsibilities, including a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on utilizing minimally invasive techniques. You will operate at a Dignity Health affiliate hospital (Mercy Hospital of Folsom) and an outpatient surgery center, leveraging advanced resources such as daVinci surgical systems and a full complement of radiology services. This role includes robust and shared call duties with 24/7 anesthesia coverage, dedicated surgical block time, and the exciting prospect to build your own elective practice over time, flexing your entrepreneurial muscles if desired.

Experience with minimally invasive techniques is highly valued. Job Requirements

Required

• Completion of an ACGME accredited training program
• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent clinical and surgical skills with a strong understanding of general surgery conditions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

• MIS/Robotic fellowship training preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years post training general surgical experience preferred

$365,000 - $370,000 /year
