Job Description:
The Certified Surgical Tech Operating Room is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures and ensuring a sterile environment in the operating room for scheduled surgeries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures as directed by the surgical team.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Support the surgical team with instruments and supplies.
- Ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Certification through NBSTSA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with Epic; 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Completion of 1 travel contract previously.
- Preferred experience in plastics, general, ortho, ENT, or neuro, but not required.
