Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Full-time position with preference for 5 eight-hour days or 4 ten-hour days plus 1 eight-hour day per week


• Delaware licensure preferred


• Board certification required with minimum 60-day credentialing timeframe


• BLS certification required


• Work in 8 operating rooms at a Level 3 trauma facility


• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, OB, regional, and thoracic surgeries


• Perform general anesthesia for adult, neonatal, and trauma cases


• Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia for surgical procedures


• Handle obstetrical cases and thoracic procedures


• Manage complex vascular and orthopedic cases


• Utilize pain management techniques including post-operative epidurals and extremity blocks


• Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical spine


• Conduct transforaminal procedures with x-ray guidance


• Manage ventilation and acute volume/blood pressure issues


• Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters as needed
