Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist Level I for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed
Required: Must be a registered Mammography Tech with a minimum of three years of experience. \nThe position supports OUH's mobile mammography coach, which travels weekly to sites across Oklahoma. Hotel and food expenses are covered during travel weeks.
Job Summary:
The Mammographer I performs specialized breast imaging services to assist providers in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring breast conditions. This role is designed for individuals gaining experience in mammography or transitioning into the field. Work is conducted in outpatient settings across OU Health locations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging as ordered by providers, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures and review clinical history to align with provider orders.
- Provide clear information to patients and families regarding procedures and results timelines.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Utilize specialized mammography equipment and techniques in accordance with practice guidelines.
- Conduct post-testing quality reviews and ensure documentation meets standards.
- Transfer images and data to electronic health systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform quality control checks, equipment cleaning, and maintenance per guidelines.
- Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Engage in teaching radiologic program students and mentor new team members.
- Assist with onboarding and inventory management tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
- Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARRT.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Military Educational Program accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.

Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- ARRT(RT)(M) certification required within 1 year of hire.
