Equipment Center Non CDL Driver

Come join our team! East Coast Lumber is seeking Equipment Center Non-CDL Drivers for full-time positions.

About Us: East Coast Lumber is a full-service professional lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, NH that has been family owned and operated since 1976. By supplying local builders, remodelers, and homeowners with all their building needs, we have become a preferred supplier of lumber and building materials, kitchen & bath products, builders hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service.

General Requirements:
One to two years driving experience.
Current drivers license and clean drivers record and be able to maintain a medical card.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to handle administration tasks especially sales orders, signatures, drivers log, timecards, etc.
Must be able to read and write clearly on sales orders and driver logs.
Must have smart phone, text, email, GPS, Photos of Incidents, etc.
Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Load and unload rental equipment for customers.
Must be able to get in and out of truck often in a safe manner.
Must be able to load and unload truck and trailers in a safe manner.
Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
Carry customer product during the delivery.

Target Responsibilities:
Check truck for pre-trip and post-trip, mileage logs, fuel Logs, etc.
Always be a safe and courteous driver following all state and federal motor vehicle rules and regulations.
Clean truck
Timely delivery

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick-up and deliver rental equipment for customers
Pick-up and deliver customer serviced equipment
Have a positive attitude toward customers.
Complete daily Vehicle inspection report.
Clean work area including truck cab.
