Job Description
Spectrum Electric is seeking a Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations and support successful project delivery in Casselberry, FL.
Position SummaryThe Superintendent is responsible for managing job site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This role coordinates and supervises crews and subcontractors while partnering with internal teams to keep work aligned with project goals and specifications.
In addition to hands-on oversight, the Superintendent monitors progress, manages resources, and helps resolve field issues quickly. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to safe, efficient job site operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate onsite construction activities, including scheduling, sequencing, and day-to-day task execution
Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable job site safety practices and standards
Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and support timely completion of milestones
Supervise and coordinate crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to address field conditions, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with plans
Experience in field supervision or a comparable construction leadership role with onsite accountability
Demonstrated ability to coordinate schedules, manage workflow, and ensure timely project execution
Strong understanding of job site safety expectations and the ability to enforce safe work practices
Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and project documentation
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to direct teams and manage expectations
Experience supervising electrical or related trades and coordinating subcontractor scope
Track record of maintaining job site quality standards and addressing issues proactively
Familiarity with managing materials, labor resources, and logistics to reduce delays
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing field conditions
Annual salary: $79,000.00 - $100,000.00
