Our client is seeking experienced Manual Machinists to support precision machining, repair, and fabrication work. This role involves hands‑on machining using manual lathes, mills, grinders, and welding equipment in a fast‑paced, high‑accuracy environment.


Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance


Work Schedules:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:30PM–11:00PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30PM–7:00AM

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and related shop equipment.
  • Perform turning, milling, threading, boring, drilling, grinding, and dynamic balancing.
  • Document measurements, calculations, and work performed per company standards.
  • Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Oxy‑Acetylene) and metal spray processes as needed.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision tools.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Precision measurement proficiency.
  • Previous experience as a Manual Machinist.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 3+ years of manual or mechanical machining experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tolerances)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to non‑standard machining tasks.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with balancing equipment.
  • Experience with welding or metal spray processes.
  • Technical certificate or associate degree in a mechanical or industrial field.
  • Experience with “old‑school” machine setup methods using gauges for adjustments.
