Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio, requiring more than 3 years of OB experience and advanced fetal monitoring certification.
Details
- Acute care setting in a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio
- Unit serves Labor & Delivery, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care
- Unit includes 4 L&D rooms and 6 postpartum rooms, averaging approximately 30 deliveries per month
- All staff are cross-trained across labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum
- Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
- EMR system is TruBridge/Evident; charting also performed in Centricity and CPSI
- Day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- More than 3 years of OB/Labor & Delivery experience required
- BSN not required
Additional Information
- 24 hours of orientation provided
