Can you stay organized, work different shifts and work well with a small team? Are you comfortable with collecting, sorting, cleaning, processing and distributing linens and garments used throughout a healthcare facility? If so, we'd love for you to apply for our EVS Laundry Tech position!

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Other cleaning experience may be accepted
• Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used for cleaning in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to create a safe environment in a healthcare setting

What You’ll Do:

• Collect, transport, and sort soiled linens in accordance with infection control and safety guidelines.
• Properly identify and handle contaminated and isolation linens following established procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines, according to department standards.
• Fold, package, and distribute clean linens to designated departments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Adhere to all infection prevention, OSHA, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Maintain strict separation of clean and soiled linens to prevent cross contamination.
• Ensure laundry area and equipment are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
