QC Flex is looking for a Production/QC Flex Specialist to join their team in Rock Island, IL. ????

What does a Production/QC Flex Specialist do?
This role involves working with a small team of individuals with disabilities as part of the cleaning crew. The responsibilities include observing, assisting, and transporting individuals to various businesses they serve, using a company vehicle as required by contract. The position emphasizes maintaining respectful relationships with client businesses to ensure team productivity and contract compliance. Additionally, the role offers cross-training in our production sector, where the individual will assist with machinery setup, operation, and coordination of production activities to ensure timely and efficient order completion. The candidate will work closely with the QC Flex Manager to update job method sheets, incorporating safety protocols, job layouts, quality control measures, and process steps. They will coordinate staff efforts for ongoing training, accurately track activities and progress, and participate in staffing and team meetings, especially in the QC Flex Manager's absence. Providing supervision within the DSP ratio, they will help schedule staff, client training, and production tasks.
What hours would I be working?
This position is scheduled to work 35 hours per week, which is considered full-time and provides access to benefits. The schedule is a Monday-through-Friday position, starting work in the late morning/early afternoon and ending around 7 PM or 8 PM. The schedule would be discussed during the first in-person interview. This position does require flexibility to market business services as needed.
What are the minimum requirements for this position?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Successful passing of pre-employment drug test; successful passing of random drug tests.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate total project efforts.
- Ability to work alongside or with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Production and computer experience preferred.
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
- Strength and flexibility to perform production work. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand/work on feet for 90% or more of the scheduled shift.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Satisfactory completion of forklift certification prior to or within 60 days of employment.
