Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position in Muscle Shoals, AL, requiring 2+ years of experience and skills in IV therapy, blood transfusions, and wound care.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit (JW Sommer Rehab Unit) within a hospital setting
- 32-bed unit serving geriatric and adult patients
- Common diagnoses and treatments include strokes, multiple trauma, and ortho/neuro cases
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Required skills include IV therapy, blood transfusions, and wound care
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (Alabama or Compact) required
- AHA certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Rehab nursing experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in IV therapy, blood transfusions, and wound care
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Navy or royal blue scrubs required
- Candidate's permanent address must be located more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
