Commercial Janitor

We are seeking a Commercial Janitor to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Ideal candidate: Enjoys working independently as well as part of a team, detailed-oriented, dependable, enjoys taking ownership and pride in the cleanliness of your assignment, enjoys a sense of accomplishment at the end of each shift, able to lift up to 30 lbs and able to wear a backpack vacuum weighing 10-15 lbs.

Job Position Description:
This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following duties and responsibilities. Duties include but not limited to:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided products, tools and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 45lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• On the job training provided to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being dependable.
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect.

Pay starting at $16 for training with an increase after training is completed, additional pay increase is available based on performance.

**Must have reliable vehicle to commute between job sites**

**Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen**
