Job Title: Order Puller – 2nd Shift

Hours: Monday – Friday 1:30pm to 9:30pm

Location: 3317 Board Road, York, PA 17406

Department: Warehouse

Responsibilities: Perform various physical tasks related to work order fulfillment involving order pulling, material handling and packaging.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow all safety and quality guidelines as laid out by Pennsylvania Steel and the PA Steel Safety Manual, as well as the Employee Handbook.

Follow all quality measures relating to the branch’s quality instructions.

Follow all packaging instructions laid out by customer specifications or as instructed by PA Steel supervision.

Qualifications:

·        High School Diploma

·        An understanding of, and ability to operate, material handling equipment such as a forklift, and overhead crane

·        Proficient in Windows based software

·        Working knowledge of decimals and fractions

·        Proficient in measuring via tape measures and micrometers

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Ability to work safely in an environment with machinery, overhead cranes, and moving equipment

·        Ability to work a full shift on your feet with little stationary time

·        Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access forklifts and truck beds

·        Medium / heavy manual work involving handling over 50 pounds frequently / up to 100 pounds occasionally

·        Tolerance of temperature extremes encountered both inside and outside of an open warehouse environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Hourly position; 401k; health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, PTO

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 /hour, based on experience, plus full benefits
