REQUIREMENTS:

A Picker/Packer is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of picking/pulling product from the warehouse shelves, sorting items and making sure all products on the order request are ready to be packed. Picker/Packers are also responsible to insure all products on the order request are free from damage, verified, counted and packaged for order shipment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verify the quantity and product being picked and packed is accurate
• Use RF Handheld Barcode Scanner to process product while picking and packaging
• Sort, Consolidate and drop off products to assigned packing stations for packaging
• Pack product to maximize box space to reduce shipping costs while maintaining packaging integrity
• Mark and label finished packages correctly to insure customer orders are free of potential shipping error
• Insure Quality Control Standards and Practices are occurring (recording errors, inspect parts for damage, correct shortages, wrong parts and using QC Forms)
• Meet and exceed daily productivity and quality standards
• Record daily productivity on Progress Control Boards per Lean Philosophy
• Operates an order picker, standup reach truck and fork truck to pick product from various storage racking
• Responsible to help maintain cleanliness and 5S standards at Packing Stations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as part of the job function while using safe lifting requirements
• Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse as needed
• Able to stand for extended periods of time, lifting multiple pounds regularly
• Must perform within the Company Safety Program and Polices

Shift: 8 am-5:30-6 pm
