Our Route Delivery Drivers are crucial ambassadors for our Company. There are many delivery positions out there. Being a Gordon Water Systems Route Delivery Driver means that you bring an extra sizzle to your customers every day. Regular customers often become friends and acquaintances who look forward to seeing you. You bring energy, and enthusiasm to your customers when you deliver products that they depend on every day.
A day as a Route Delivery Driver at Gordon Water Systems will contain physical deliveries, equipment repairs and paperwork.
Delivery approx. 80% of the time
- 5-gallon and 3-gallon bottles of water
- Salt delivery (40 lbs bags)
- Filter changes
- Loading salt in brine tanks for customers
- Cleaning, repairing coolers at customers’ site
Canvassing for new customers approx. 10% of the time
- Making contacts with businesses that are not our customers that are on your route.
Office work approx. 10% of the time
- Cleaning, repairing coolers at Gordon Water Systems
- Completing paperwork associated with your customers
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school graduate or equivalent certificate
- Problem solving skills
- Able to lift more than 60lbs
- Have a neat physical appearance
- Must have valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Customer Service experience is helpful
- Mechanical Ability is helpful
