Delivery Driver

Pay rate $22-$23/HR D.O.E

Location: Portland and surrounding areas

Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time between 7:00 am -3:30 pm

Local metal company seeking a reliable and experienced delivery driver, driver is responsible for loading and unloading orders. Must have clean driving record and experience driving a 26’ Box Truck. Will be traveling to multiple locations in Oregon.

Key responsibilities:

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Will be home daily
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring safe handling of items.
• Drive a box truck to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently, optimizing delivery times while maintaining quality service.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transport.
• Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Will be traveling to different locations

Qualifications:

• Experience in route driving and familiarity with local roadways is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 60 pounds) safely and efficiently. Sit for long periods of time, stand, reach, bend and twist.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience operating 26 ft box trucks
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
