Maintenance Tech

Job Description

Education: High School Degree preferred

Experience and Skills Necessary:

• 2 years of mechanical and electrical work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills – define a situation and be decisive in solving it
• Ability to work with and lead others as necessary
• Advanced computer skills
• Willing to work either 1st or 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

(Include, but not limited to)

• Performing corrective and preventive maintenance on all equipment
• Handling change-overs on all equipment
• Ensure that all standard operating procedures are being followed
• Trouble shooting and fixing of all equipment
• Fill in as supervisor if needed
• Perform various production and quality control duties as requested
• Initiate, participate and maintain 6S Standards and lean manufacturing concepts
• Actively taking part in our continuous improvement program
• Understand and demonstrate commitment to our Quality Policy and ISO 9001:2015 responsibilities
• Willing to perform special duties as assigned by management
• Patrol jobs through the shift

Experience:

• Electrical: 2 years (Preferred)
• Preventive maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical troubleshooting: 2 years (Preferred)
• Electrical troubleshooting: 2 years (Preferred)
