You will use advanced equipment including Swan-Ganz catheters, intra-aortic balloon pumps, ventilators, and Envue feeding tubes. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2, sometimes flexing to 1:3, so you can provide focused care.You must have a minimum of 18 months of ICU experience and hold a degree or diploma in registered nursing.
