Experienced Concrete Foreman

***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OVERSEEING MACHINE AND HAND CURB CREWS.***

*****Must Live in Manatee, Sarasota or Charlotte County******

The Concrete Foreman will oversee concrete curb operations across various project types including commercial buildings, residential construction, and industrial facilities. This role involves managing teams ranging from small to large sizes, ensuring safety compliance, quality control, and coordinating equipment usage. The foreman will conduct weekly site inspections, oversee both machine and hand curb crews, and operate specialized equipment such as the Gomaco GT 3600 curb machine. Frequent travel to job sites is expected to maintain project oversight and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise medium to large teams of concrete workers (1-15+ members)
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
• Maintain high standards of quality control across all concrete work
• Coordinate equipment usage and operation, including Gomaco GT 3600 curb machine
• Conduct weekly site inspections to monitor progress and quality
• Oversee machine curb crew and hand curb crew activities
• Manage logistics and travel to multiple job sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction supervision
• Clean driver's license
• Knowledge of construction management principles
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance
• Demonstrated team leadership skills
• Quality assurance expertise
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
