CDL A shuttle drivers needed

DriverSource is seeking professional CDL A shuttle drivers to join our team for local auto parts shuttle routes originating out of Mt. Clemens, MI. This full-time position offers home daily work with the opportunity to earn good overtime while operating in a strictly local environment. Drivers will represent our company professionally and must be adept at navigating tight spaces while following all safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles transporting auto parts locally
• Back vehicles into tight docking spaces safely and accurately
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain professional conduct at all times as the company representative
• Complete electronic logs and comply with DOT regulations
• Participate in daily check-ins to report and monitor performance

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 1 year recent, verifiable commercial truck driving experience
• Current DOT Medical Card

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating both automatic and manual transmissions
• Strong knowledge and adherence to DOT regulations, including hours of service
• Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (E-Logs)
• Demonstrated safety awareness and self-motivation
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow direction
