You will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity.
• Maintain visitor logs, badge distribution records, and other access-related documentation in accordance with site policies and reporting expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for access control issues, facility concerns, and/or security-related policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a California weapons permit with 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
