Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in North Carolina - OB Hospitalist
OB hospitalist locums opportunity in North Carolina near Raleigh with 24-hour inpatient coverage, flexible PRN scheduling, and ongoing monthly blocks.
Practice Setting
- Inpatient-only labor and delivery coverage
- Dedicated maternity center with Level 1 nursery
- Hospital-based OB care with no clinic responsibilities
- Support from onsite hospital staff and pediatric coverage
Schedule
- 24-hour in-house coverage shifts
- PRN scheduling with 5-15 shifts available monthly
- Flexible block scheduling options
- Ongoing monthly coverage needs
Cases and Procedures
- Vaginal and cesarean deliveries including VBACs
- OB triage, admissions, and inpatient rounding
- Emergency obstetric care
- Average daily patient volume remains manageable
Requirements
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active North Carolina license required
- BLS and DEA required
