Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30), primarily 8:30 start time with some variable scheduling. No weekends or holidays required. 13-week assignment with potential float to main OR across the street.

- Specialties include Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Pain Management
- No weekend or holiday coverage required; work-life balance prioritized
- First-time travelers accepted; 1 year of OR experience required
- Epic charting system utilized; experience preferred
- Diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Valid California RN license (pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
- Experience with ambulatory and outpatient OR procedures strongly preferred
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Competency in general OR skills, laparoscopic procedures, infection control, laser safety, and specimen handling
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
- Maximum of 7 days requested time off during assignment
This travel nursing opportunity offers a structured day shift schedule in a dynamic outpatient OR environment with no weekend or holiday requirements. You'll gain experience across multiple surgical specialties while working in a supportive acute care setting with interdisciplinary resources including interpretation services and unit secretaries. Candidates should be flexible with potential float assignments to nearby sister facilities as needed.
