American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Santa Rosa, California.

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Northern California
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:00) with variable start times at 7:00 and 9:00. Weekend coverage required. On-call responsibility distributed equally every 6 weeks, which may include 6-8 shifts per 6-week period (including nights, evenings, and weekends). May need to cover one night shift during the contract as needed. Assignment duration is 91 days with 40 hours of orientation.
Highlights:- 277-bed acute care trauma facility with diverse surgical caseload
- Epic charting system with free parking provided
- Approximately 25 cases daily with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
- Exposure to trauma, orthopedics (total joints and ortho trauma), neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general surgery, GU, and GYN procedures
- Advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi robotic system and laparoscopic-assisted procedures
- Float opportunities to nearby affiliate facilities for professional growth
- Valid California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required; travel experience preferred
- Trauma Level I experience required with demonstrated competency in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases
- Epic charting system experience required
- BLS certification required
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Flexibility to float between like units and affiliate facilities as needed
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
