American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring a minimum of 3 years of LDRP experience and an active C-EFM certification.
Details- Work in a 27-bed Family Center LDRP unit specializing in couplet care, newborn assessment services, and antepartum patient services
- Patient population includes postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients
- Supports Labor & Delivery needs through floating; L&D triage and circulating responsibilities are excluded
- Antepartum and postpartum cross-training is expected
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Rotating weekends required; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification required at time of consideration
- Minimum 3 years of current, strong LDRP experience required
- Acute care RN experience required
- Antepartum and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Provide couplet care, newborn assessments, and antepartum nursing services within an LDRP setting
- Float to Labor & Delivery as needed to support unit staffing (excluding triage and circulating roles)
- Unit is located approximately one hour from both Baltimore and Washington, DC, offering a suburban environment with easy access to metro areas
