American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract at a Level II NICU, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience and an active WA or compact RN license.
Details- Position is located at the Pavilion for Women and Children (Pacific Campus), a comprehensive maternity and Level II NICU facility
- Patient population includes neonates 22 weeks gestation and greater, with conditions including prematurity, BPD, nutritional alteration risk, and ROP exams
- Equipment used includes conventional ventilators, oscillators, bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and nasal cannula
- No surgical, ostomy, or trach cases are performed in this unit
- Charting is done via Epic (experience required)
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
- 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
- Floating required to the Family Maternity Center/Postpartum (babies only)
- 13-week contract
- Active WA state or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Position is located at the Pacific Campus, less than 1 mile from the Colby Campus
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Scrubs may be any color, with the exception of reddish-orange
- Parking is facility paid
