Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

\n

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage as needed.

Highlights:\n

• Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular patient care at a dedicated cardiac facility
\n
• 13-week travel assignment with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
\n
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
\n
• 55-bed unit with daily census of approximately 38 patients, treating CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and other cardiovascular conditions
\n
• Opportunity to work with cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac procedures, and advanced cardiovascular interventions
\n
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or stepdown experience preferred (1+ years considered)
\n
• Cardiovascular experience required
\n
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; CPI preferred
\n
• Epic charting system experience required
\n
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drips, post-cardiac procedures, and central line care
\n
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the facility
\n
