Practical Nursing Instructor

Position Description: Delta College is seeking a highly student-oriented Registered Nurse to join our team as an evening, part-time Practical Nursing Instructor at our Covington Campus. This is an evening shift position that offers flexibility, only requiring 8 to 12 hours of work per week. As a Practical Nursing Instructor, you would be responsible for teaching Nursing theory to our LPN students. This is a terrific opportunity to share your knowledge and experience of the nursing profession! Requirements:
A current and valid Louisiana state RN license is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
At least one year as a medical-surgical hospital staff nurse.Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
Nursing instruction experience is preferred, but not required, The college provides training and materials for all faculty. Evening Shift Hours:Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
