ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensure that all tools are supplied and available to use.
Responsible for utilizing a manual lathe machine for the polishing of tools used by the operative.
Will use a manual horizontal lathe and will polish all tools to ensure production is getting the optimal yield
Must indicate and align all tools to the specification
Must follow the strict guidelines of training in reference to polishing
Will polish all tools when required (E-seals and O-rings)
Keep track of all tools polished and unpolished in a required log
Keep the machine and polishing area clean of all debris
Must be able to operate forklift and other equipment to move larger tools around the shop
