Responsibilities
Adhere to safety protocols, radiation protection, and patient shielding guidelines.
Perform high-quality computed tomography scans on patients with accuracy.
Participate in continuous learning to stay current with imaging tech and protocols.
Meet or exceed daily imaging targets and contribute to pipeline-based planning.
Operate CT equipment, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging parameters.
Collaborate with radiologists to interpret images and support diagnosis.
Support team-based goals while owning personal performance and development.
Maintain meticulous patient records and imaging documentation.
Assist in clinical workflow optimization to improve throughput and efficiency.
Document deviations, incidents, or near-misses and participate in quality improvement.
Educate patients about procedures, consent, and post-procedure instructions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant imaging suite and equipment.
Experience/Qualifications
CT technologist license and current certification for radiologic technology.
Proven experience performing CT scans with adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with imaging protocols.
Proficiency with CT equipment setup, calibration, and parameter troubleshooting.
Accurate documentation of patient records and imaging metadata.
Participation in quality improvement, incident reporting, and deviation documentation.
Strong collaboration with radiologists to interpret images and support diagnosis.
Ability to meet daily imaging targets and contribute to pipeline-based planning.
Comprehensive patient care: consent, explanation of procedures, and post-procedure instructions.
On-site, organized, compliant imaging suite maintenance and equipment housekeeping.
