Job Description
Mammography Technologist (Mamo Tech) – Contract | California 95240
Contract: 13 weeks (05/18/2026 – 08/16/2026)
Pay Rate: $2,605 – $2,917/week
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Friday
Shift Time: Between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (start/end times may vary)
Perform screening/diagnostic mammograms and assist with breast procedures
Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and education
Operate mammography equipment and produce high-quality images
Assist radiologist with biopsies and advanced exams
Follow infection control and document procedures accurately
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
Mammography experience: Preferred
Radiologic Technologist (RT) – CA: Required
Mammography Technologist – CA: Required
ARRT-R (Radiography): Required
ARRT-M (Mammography): Preferred in CA
BLS (AHA/ARC or equivalent): Required
Fluoroscopy License: Required
Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT): Required
Venipuncture Certification: Preferred
Maintains compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards
Communicates patient prep instructions and escalates concerns as needed
Participates in maintaining a safe and efficient department
Must meet vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
