THE JOB
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and selling payroll and HR technology solutions to small businesses.
This is a highly active inside-sales role focused on outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, virtual sales meetings, and new-business development. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative office environment while managing outbound sales activity and building relationships with business owners.
This role is best suited for candidates who enjoy fast-paced sales environments, phone-based prospecting, and KPI-driven sales execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities
- Conduct outbound calling activity
- Sell payroll and HR technology solutions
- Conduct virtual client meetings and demos
- Manage pipeline activity and forecasting
- Maintain CRM accuracy and follow-up cadence
- Achieve monthly and annual sales goals
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Build relationships with SMB decision-makers
- Maintain strong activity and KPI performance
THE QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have Requirements
- 1–3 years of B2B sales or inside-sales experience preferred
- Comfortable working fully in-office 5 days/week
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting activity
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Comfortable working in KPI-driven sales environments
Preferred Qualifications
- SDR/BDR experience
- SaaS, payroll, HCM, telecom, staffing, merchant services, or insurance sales experience
- CRM or Salesforce experience
- Recent graduates from sales programs encouraged to apply
