A respected AmLaw firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated structured finance and capital markets transactions within a collaborative and nationally recognized transactional platform.

The firm is seeking a motivated associate attorney with strong transactional experience who is interested in handling complex securitization, structured finance, and capital markets matters in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

The Role

Associates in this position may work on matters involving:

  • Structured finance transactions
  • Capital markets and securitization matters
  • Commercial real estate finance transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
  • Offering and disclosure documents
  • Purchase and servicing agreements
  • Transaction management and closing coordination
  • General transactional support for sophisticated financing matters

Attorneys will work closely with lenders, financial institutions, issuers, investors, and transactional teams on high-value and strategically significant transactions.

Ideal Background
  • 3–6+ years of capital markets, structured finance, or sophisticated transactional experience
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing transaction closings and multiple workstreams
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials required
  • North Carolina Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in
