A respected AmLaw firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated structured finance and capital markets transactions within a collaborative and nationally recognized transactional platform.
The firm is seeking a motivated associate attorney with strong transactional experience who is interested in handling complex securitization, structured finance, and capital markets matters in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
The RoleAssociates in this position may work on matters involving:
- Structured finance transactions
- Capital markets and securitization matters
- Commercial real estate finance transactions
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Offering and disclosure documents
- Purchase and servicing agreements
- Transaction management and closing coordination
- General transactional support for sophisticated financing matters
Attorneys will work closely with lenders, financial institutions, issuers, investors, and transactional teams on high-value and strategically significant transactions.
Ideal Background- 3–6+ years of capital markets, structured finance, or sophisticated transactional experience
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing transaction closings and multiple workstreams
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials required
- North Carolina Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in
- Sophisticated national capital markets platform
- Exposure to high-value and complex transactional matters
- Significant client-facing responsibility and hands-on experience
- Collaborative and collegial team environment
- Strong long-term growth potential within a leading transactional practice
Compensation: $260,000–$390,000 DOE
