An AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions within a nationally recognized real estate platform handling complex acquisitions, dispositions, financing matters, and leasing transactions.
The firm is seeking a motivated mid-level associate attorney with strong real estate transactional experience who is comfortable managing sophisticated matters and working directly with clients in a fast-paced environment.
The RoleAssociates in this position may work on matters involving:
- Commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Leasing transactions
- Real estate financing matters
- Debt and equity real estate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements
- Financing and loan documentation
- Due diligence review and transaction management
- Complex commercial real estate closings
Attorneys will work closely with developers, lenders, investors, property owners, and institutional clients on sophisticated transactional matters throughout the region and nationally.
Ideal Background- 4–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
- Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters required
- Experience with real estate debt or equity transactions preferred
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Elevated attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working directly with clients on day-to-day matters
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials required
- North Carolina Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in
- AmLaw 50 platform with nationally recognized real estate practice
- Sophisticated commercial real estate and financing matters
- Significant client-facing responsibility and hands-on experience
- Collaborative and collegial team environment
- Strong long-term growth potential within an expanding Charlotte platform
Compensation: $295,000–$350,000 DOE
