Compensation

Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative

Manage inbound phone calls and digital inquiries from prospective residential and commercial subscribers.
Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs and recommend the ideal internet speeds and service packages.
Educate community members on subsidized internet programs and assist eligible low-income families with the application process.
Follow up on warm leads and community outreach campaigns to expand the organization's subscriber base.
Accurately input customer data, track interactions, and manage sales pipelines within the CRM system.
Coordinate seamlessly with the technical and scheduling teams to arrange standard service installations.
Meet weekly and monthly connection targets to help sustain and fund the non-profit’s community initiatives.

Qualifications of the Inside Sales Representative

Experience: 1–2 years of proven success in inside sales, telemarketing, or a high-volume customer service environment.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, friendly manner.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating CRM platforms, billing systems, and standard office software; a basic understanding of home networking/Wi-Fi terminology is preferred.
Organization: Strong multi-tasking habits with the ability to efficiently guide customers from initial inquiry through account setup.
Mindset: A compassionate, patient, and goal-driven professional who is genuinely passionate about community service and digital equity.
Bilingual Advantage: Professional fluency in Spanish or another second language is highly valued but not required.
