A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Investment Strategies & Capital Solutions Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated private equity, investment, and transactional matters within a collaborative national platform serving clients across multiple industries and asset classes.
The firm is seeking a motivated mid-level associate with strong corporate and transactional experience who is interested in representing private equity clients and advising on complex investment structures and strategic transactions.
The RoleAssociates in this position may work on matters involving:
- Private equity and investment transactions
- Joint venture structuring
- Pooled investment vehicles
- Real estate investment structures
- Private credit and capital solutions transactions
- Corporate governance and transactional matters
- Strategic investment and financing arrangements
- Fund and investment platform structuring matters
Attorneys will work closely with sophisticated private equity sponsors, investors, and business clients on high-value and strategically significant transactions.
Ideal Background- 3+ years of general corporate or transactional experience
- Experience working on sophisticated transactional matters within a law firm environment
- Interest in private equity, investment strategies, and capital solutions work
- Strong legal writing, drafting, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively
- Familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 is a plus, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active Texas Bar admission required or ability to waive in
- Sophisticated private equity and investment platform
- Exposure to high-value and complex investment transactions
- Significant client-facing responsibility and hands-on experience
- Collegial and collaborative national practice environment
- Strong long-term growth potential within an expanding transactional practice
Compensation: $240,000–$390,000 DOE, plus discretionary bonus eligibility
