Speech Pathologist

Speech Pathologist (Contract)
Location: California 93301
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (05/11/2026 – 08/09/2026)
Pay: $2,270 – $2,545/week

Schedule:

• Day Shift (8-hour shifts)

• Monday–Friday

• Start time: 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM

• Weekend rotation: 1 weekend shift per month

• No night shifts

• Evaluate and treat speech, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

• Document care and monitor patient progress

• Supervise support staff and collaborate with care team

• Assist with discharge planning and patient education

Education & Experience:

• Master’s Degree (or equivalent): Required

• 2+ years SLP experience: Preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Speech Pathologist License (state of practice): Required

• BLS/CPR (AHA or ARC): Required

• ASHA CCC: Preferred

• Equipment: Wheelchairs, walkers, canes, rehab tools

• Procedures: Video swallow studies (daily scheduled exams)

• Collaboration with transport team for studies

• Scrubs: Black

• Work closely with hospitalists and intensivists as needed

• No lift team

• Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
