Position SummaryThe Physical Therapist evaluates patient conditions, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating patient conditions and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing physical therapy treatments and monitoring patient progress
- Communicating patient progress or concerns with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
- Assisting with patient scheduling and daily charge posting
- Documenting patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
- Educating patients, families, and nursing staff on follow-through care programs
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe, clean work environment
- Adhering to professional standards, compliance policies, and state/federal regulations
- Performing additional duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in South Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
