Travel X-Ray Technologist – Ambulatory Surgery (Days)
Location: New York (Sawgrass & Marketplace – Miracle Mile)
Pay: $2,400 – $2,700 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)

Schedule:
Monday – Friday | Day shifts
Hours between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
40 hours per week
No call, no holidays

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to support an ambulatory surgery setting. This role includes working in both outpatient and procedural environments, including OR support and portable imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to procedures

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging of bones, tissues, and organs

• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and cooperation

• Position patients appropriately, including those with limited mobility

• Operate radiologic equipment safely while minimizing radiation exposure

• Monitor patient condition and adapt care based on patient needs

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure images are properly sent to PACS

• Report equipment issues or malfunctions

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• ARRT certification (required)

• Active New York State license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience

• Comfortable working in the OR and with portable imaging

• Experience using C-arm and/or O-arm within the past 8 months

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Certifications:

• BLS (required)
