We regularly partner with firms seeking attorneys with experience handling mergers & acquisitions, private equity, financing, and complex corporate transactions, and we’re continuously building relationships with strong transactional attorneys who may be open to confidential conversations about current or upcoming opportunities.

The Opportunity

Associates in these roles may work on matters involving:

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Private equity transactions
• Corporate governance and entity formation
• Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
• Financing and restructuring transactions
• Commercial contracts and general business transactions
• Middle-market and national transactional matters
• Day-to-day outside general counsel advisory work

Attorneys may work with private companies, founders, investors, lenders, sponsors, and management teams across a broad range of industries.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of corporate and transactional experience
• Experience handling sophisticated M&A or business transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Experience with private equity or financing transactions is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Ohio Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in
