Speech Therapist (SLP) | Framingham, MA

We’re seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Framingham, Massachusetts. This opportunity allows you to provide essential therapy services that improve patients’ communication, swallowing, and quality of life in a supportive rehab environment.

Position Details

• Location: Framingham, MA

• Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (or per facility need)

• Schedule: Full-time (hours may vary by facility)

Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist License (Massachusetts)

• BLS certification (required)

• New graduates welcome to apply

• SNF experience preferred

• Must provide a negative COVID test within 72 hours prior to start date (results must be issued 48 hours prior)

• Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders

• Provide speech, language, and swallowing therapy to improve patient outcomes

• Monitor progress, document therapy sessions, and adjust treatment as needed

• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other rehab team members

• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques and home programs

• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines
