X-Ray Tech

Location: NY 14620
Pay: $2,230 – $2,500/week
Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
Additional: No call, no holidays

• Perform radiographic imaging of bones, tissues, and organs per physician orders

• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety

• Position patients, including lifting/moving as needed

• Operate x-ray equipment safely; maintain low radiation dose

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation

• Maintain accurate patient records and properly send images to PACS

• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment promptly

• Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license – Required

• ARRT certification – Required

• 2 years X-ray tech experience – Required

• BLS certification – Required

• Comfortable with OR and portable imaging; able to lift/move patients and stand for long periods

• Experience using C-arm/O-arm in past 8 months
