Bilingual Safety Specialist

Automation Blue Marine Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Safety Specialist for a company based in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will contribute to critical operations within the marine and industrial sector by ensuring compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.

Based on experience

Monday through Friday

Weekends and holidays as required

• Inspect work areas and practices to ensure compliance with safety rules, OSHA regulations, and company policies.

• Maintain and prepare safety reports and documentation.

• Conduct safety training programs and educate employees.

• Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE.

• Perform safety inspections including fire prevention equipment.

• Respond to workplace safety incidents and emergencies.

• Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.

• Collect and analyze hazardous material samples.

• Coordinate hazard communication programs.

• Ensure safe confined space entry procedures.

• Enforce fall protection and respirator use.

• Evaluate work environments and implement safety programs.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Vocational or technical training preferred.

• Ability to read, write, and understand safety procedures.

• Must pass company-required testing.

• Knowledge of OSHA standards preferred.

• Strong communication skills.

• Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions.

• Exposure to hazards including chemicals, machinery, heights, and confined spaces.

• Required to wear PPE at all times.

• Medium work classification (20–50 lbs occasionally).

• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting, and standing.

• Must be able to work in confined spaces and wear respirators.
