Quality Control Manager Pay Rate and Hours:
  • $50k-$75k
  • Monday- Friday 7am-4pm
Quality Control Manager Job Description:
  • Lead and oversee our quality systems, inspection department, and compliance programs in a fast-paced CNC machining and manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards, gage calibration and control systems, inspection processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with aerospace and industrial manufacturing requirements.
Quality Control Manager Skills:
  • Manage and maintain the company’s AS9100 Quality Management System
  • Oversee all quality control and inspection operations
  • Maintain and administer gage calibration and gage control programs
  • Review customer specifications, blueprints, and quality requirements
  • Lead internal audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Coordinate external audits and customer quality visits
  • Develop and enforce quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation
  • Supervise and support QC inspectors and quality personnel
  • Ensure compliance with customer, aerospace, and industry standards
  • Monitor quality metrics and implement improvements to reduce nonconformance
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality
  • Aerospace or precision CNC machining background
  • Experience with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software is a plus
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and customer audit processes
  • Understanding of first article inspections (AS9102)
Quality Control Manager Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with gage control, calibration systems, and inspection procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Familiarity with CMM inspection processes preferred
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action systems
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
