Job Title: Stockroom Floater

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Stockroom Floater to support warehouse, stockroom, and inventory operations at our South Elgin facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable assisting in multiple departments as business needs change.

We are a privately owned Contract Electronics and PCB Manufacturer serving industries including medical equipment, RFID, wireless telemetry, industrial controls, gaming & entertainment, and more.

Responsibilities

Stockroom / Kitting (Primary Focus)

• Pick electrical components accurately for production kits
• Prepare, stage, and deliver kits to production
• Maintain organized stockroom inventory locations
• Assist with stocking and replenishment
• Ensure materials are readily available for production needs

Receiving Support (As Needed)

• Assist with unloading incoming shipments
• Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders
• Enter received materials into inventory systems
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area

Inventory Control / Cycle Counting

• Perform cycle counts and inventory checks
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and adjustments
• Support periodic and annual inventory activities

Additional Duties

• Support warehouse and stockroom operations as needed
• Assist with loading/unloading materials
• Complete basic clerical tasks including labels and data entry
• Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs
• Standing for extended periods
• Warehouse and production floor environment
