Technical Support Specialist
Location: Lodi, NJ
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $25–30/hr based on experience

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on support for warranty claims, product troubleshooting, and customer service operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting experience, and a passion for delivering excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical product issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation
• Support warranty claims, equipment returns, and product performance investigations
• Accurately process warranty claims and returned parts within established timelines
• Communicate technical information effectively with customers, technicians, and internal teams
• Document customer interactions and technical findings within CRM systems
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Product teams to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow up on open cases to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction
• Assist in improving service processes, workflows, and technical documentation

Qualifications:
• Trade school training, factory certifications, or hands-on experience in refrigeration, electrical, gas, mechanical, or commercial equipment environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting foodservice, commercial, or consumer equipment is a plus
